Our September meeting was well attended and we had ALOT to talk about!
As a group, we decided to reach out to the Arnold family, who is grieving the loss of their beloved Lorraine. SIC will be making a meal and delivering it to the family on October 10th at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to be a part of this effort, please give Kelly a call.
Janis presented the devotional, A Recipe for Friendship.
We sent out some Get Well and Thinking Of You cards to members of our congregation and we shared in an open discussion about summer vacations. It was a great meeting and so good to see everyone back from the long summer break!
NEXT MEETING:
October 18th at 7 p.m. in the Grove - Service Project - Adopt a Family.
We will be discussing adopting a less fortunate family this Christmas.
Jessica will be presenting the devotional.
