Meeting Schedule
Sisters in Christ is
designed to inspire and equip the women of St. David's to grow in their faith
and live dynamic and fulfilling lives that reflect God's presence. It is our
desire to provide a welcoming and caring environment where women are encouraged
to grow in their relationship with God, to form meaningful relationships with
other women and serve others.
Please come, enjoy
the fellowship and get to know the women of St. David’s.
April 24, 2014 @ 7 p.m. – “Ladies Spring Tea” – We will meet
in the Grove for our 3rd annual Tea Party. Wear your prettiest tea
party hat and win a prize! Please bring a tea snack to share. There is a
sign-up sheet posted on the bulletin board.
May 9, 2014 (Fri) @ 6 p.m. – “Planting Flowers” – We will meet in
the church parking lot to plant flowers around the church. Details will be
shared at a later date.
July 20, 2014 (Sun) @ 4:30 p.m. – “Family Picnic” - The Sisters in
Christ and their families will meet at Codorus State Park for a family picnic.
Everyone is asked to bring their own picnic dinner, but please bring a dessert
to share.
September 14, 2014 (Sun) @ 8:45 a.m. – “Bake Sale” – We will meet at the
Traditional Church Service for SIC Promotion Sunday and Bake Sale. Everyone is
asked to bring individually wrapped baked goods to sell. Proceeds will benefit current
and future Sisters in Christ Service Projects.
October 16, 2014 @ 7p.m. – “Zentangle” – Come to the Grove to
learn a meditative and uplifting form of drawing artistic designs. (A small fee
for materials may be required). Please bring a snack to share.
November 20, 2014 @ 6:30 p.m. – “Baking Cookies” – We will meet in
the Grove to bake cookies to be donated to our shut-ins. Please bring one batch
of already prepared cookie dough and your baking sheets.
December 18, 2014 @ 7 p.m. – “Christmas Dinner” – Meet in the Grove
for our annual buffet style Christmas Dinner and gift exchange. A sign-up sheet
will be posted. Please bring a dish to share, and a $5 wrapped gift to
exchange.
January 15, 2015 @ 7 p.m. – “Movie Night” – Movie and meeting
place – to be determined.
February 19, 2015 @ 7 p.m. – “Game Night” – We will gather in the
Grove for a fun night of games and giveaways. Please bring a snack to share.
March 19, 2015 @ 6:30 p.m. – “Planning Meeting” – We will meet at
a local restaurant for dinner and to plan and discuss upcoming meetings.

Sounds great!! I hope after June I can become involved again. I miss all my sisters.
