Beautifying Our Church Grounds

The Sisters in Christ will be planting flowers at the Church on Friday, May 9th beginning at 6 p.m. Come get your gardening on with us as we beautify our church grounds and make it a welcoming place of worship just in time for Mother's Day!

Please wear your garden gloves and bring your gardening tools. Complimentary water will be available for the thirsty worker.

The weather looks fantastic! Hopefully any showers will hold off at least until we are done planting!

DONATIONS OF FLOWERS ARE NEEDED. Here are some suggestions of flowers that like full sun:

Vinca

Geraniums

Zinnias

Verbena

Keep in mind that any sun loving flower will do. Please bring the flowers you wish to donate with you on Friday to plant, or you may drop them off at the church office prior to Friday.

FLOWERS FOR THE PLANTER POTS ARE BEING PURCHASED WITH OUR SIC FUNDS. Kelly will purchase separately. If you have any questions, please let me know.
