Baking Up Fun/Upcoming Meeting/Service Project

I would like to thank all the ladies who came out to bake cookies on November 20th. Altogether, we baked over 30 dozen cookies! The cookies are being preserved in the freezer until the Care Committee assembles the gift baskets for our shut-ins. We will also be donating a portion of the cookies to the Cookie Walk, which will take place on December 13th in the Grove from 9-1.

UPCOMING MEETING:

The Sisters in Christ Annual Christmas Party will take place on December 18th at 7 p.m. in the Grove. All ladies of St. Davids are invited to come out and join in the evening festivities. We will be having a buffet style dinner and gift exchange. Please bring a $5 wrapped gift to exchange for a new and exciting gift exchange game.  Also, please be sure to bring a yummy casserole or dessert to share. Kindly sign up on the bulletin board in the sanctuary so that we know how many ladies to expect. It is also helpful to see who is bringing what type of food.  See you all there!

SERVICE PROJECT:

The Sisters in Christ were able to use $150 of their funds to purchase household items for New Hope Ministries. The following items were purchased and donated to New Hope Ministries Christmas Blessings Campaign: Flatware, Queen Size Sheet Set, Crock Pot, Skillet, Toaster Oven, Toaster and Coffee Maker. A special thanks to Mitz for giving us her Kohl's discount!  The items will be made available to several struggling families in the Hanover area.
