Sisters In Christ: Summer Update

The Sisters in Christ are taking a little summer break. However, they will be having their 2nd Annual Family Picnic on July 19th at Codorus State Park beginning at 4 p.m. at the Sailboat Launch off of Smith Station Rd. All families of St. David's are invited! Bring your own picnic dinner and a dessert to share. The Sailboat Launch of Codorus State Park offers shaded picnic areas with new picnic tables, grills, a shore to fish from, and clean bathroom facilities. Bring your own lawn chairs, table cloth, Frisbee, etc. Last year was a huge success! Hope to see you there!

By now, I'm sure you have all noticed the beautiful flowers that were planted around the Church back in May. They have grown significantly and are being well cared for by the SIC ladies. Thanks SIC ladies for all your donations of flowers and to those who came out to plant! And a very SPECIAL THANK-YOU to Don Whatley who spread the mulch for us! Please extend your thanks to Mr. Whatley, who also maintains the church grounds. Mr. Whatley attends the Contemporary Service.
