SIC Promotion Event Reminder

It's almost time for our SIC Promotion Sunday Event! Don't forget - - meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, 9/22.Wear your purple T's, bring your individually wrapped baked goods and any raffle tickets that you have sold. We are holding our bake sale after the Traditional Church service and before/after the Contemporary Church Service. You are not required to stay after the Traditional Church service - only if you want to.

We will all stand up together in front of the church just after Pastor Scott gives the announcements (Traditional Service only). Each person will hold a "prop" as we describe some of what the Sisters in Christ group does.

For example:

The first person in line will wear an apron, step forward and hold up a cookie sheet as the leader says, "We bake cookies for our shut-ins".

The second person in line will step forward and hold up a Bible as the leader says, "We read devotionals".

The third person in line will step forward and hold up greeting cards and a pen as the leader says, "We send out cards of care & concern".

The fourth person in line will step forward, hold up a tea pot and tea cup as the leader says, "We have tea parties".

The fifth person in line will step forward, hold up a feather duster and cleaning spray as the leader says, "We spring clean our church".

The sixth person in line will wear gardening gloves, step forward and hold up a flower pot & shovel, as the leader says, We plant flowers around the church".

and so on..... 

Don't worry, all you will have to do is stand there and hold your prop. You will not have to speak. I will have your prop ready when you arrive at the church. 

I sure hope you will all be able to make it on Sunday as we promote our group and raise funds for future service projects. Your support and participation is greatly appreciated and I love you all!
