SIC Promotion Sunday = Huge Success!

The SIC bake and craft sale that took place on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 was a HUGE success! Over $550 was raised (includes ticket sales for the Baker's Joy Gift Bundle)!! Ok, you can pick your jaw up off the floor now! WOW! Just WOW! This money will go towards our Adopt A Family at Christmas time and our Flower Fund for spring time.  We are so blessed to have such a generous and caring church family! Thank you to everyone who donated their time and baked goods to the event. I am overjoyed by the outpouring of support! And I am reminded of Pastor Scott's sermon on Sunday and his challenge to the congregation to become part of a small group ministry and how important it is in the life of the church. I think we are all on the right track! Stay on course ladies! I love you all!

Psalm 133

A song of ascents. Of David.

How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
It is like precious oil poured on the head,
    running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard,
down on the collar of his robe.
It is as if the dew of Hermon
    were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
    even life forevermore.

The Craft table will remain set up until after the Contemporary Church service on Sunday, Sept. 29. Also, the Baker's Joy Gift Bundle ticket will be drawn on Sunday, Sept. 29 after the Contemporary Service, so there is still time to sell/purchase more tickets and the potential to raise even more funds! Go SIC!

OUR NEXT MEETING WILL BE ON OCTOBER 17, 2013 at 7 p.m. in the Grove. Details will be posted soon!
