Janis and Kelly shared a devotional about how Sisters in Christ are like gingerbread women and how each of us are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
If you weren't able to make it to the dinner, be sure to ask Dawn about the Tampax box!
Many nice gifts were exchanged during our "Yankee Gift Swap".
Kelly models the pretty stained glass ornaments she received.
The gifting trend this year was "scarves".

What a fun bunch!
Many thanks to all the lovely ladies who came out to share in Christian love and fellowship!
ADOPT A FAMILY UPDATE
We donated a Giant prepared meal and fruit basket to a special needs family in the community as well as a $50 Chili's Gift card to a family, as per Pastor Scott's request. Janis and Kelly delivered the meal to the special needs family on December 20, 2013.
We have decided to put the donation to Lazarus Church on hold for now.
NEXT MEETING
Our next SIC meeting has been re-scheduled for Friday, JANUARY 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary for MOVIE NIGHT. Craig Sager is hosting a Free Movie Friday event and will be showing the film, To Save a Life. Many of you have already expressed an interest in seeing this inspirational film geared toward teens and families, so I thought it would be fun to join in with the rest of our church family and watch it together. I encourage you to bring your families and friends along! Jenn and Nancy are scheduled to present the devotion, so we will meet briefly at 6:30 p.m. just prior to the movie in the Overflow Room.
Bring your own movie snacks! See you there!
Here is the official movie trailer:
