Bake Sale Success & Upcoming Meeting

Our bake sale held on September 14th was a big success! We raised approximately $273. All of these proceeds will benefit future Sisters in Christ service projects. Much of the proceeds will be donated to less fortunate families who are in need this coming Christmas.

We will have an open discussion on how to distribute those funds at our next meeting on October 16th at 7 p.m. in the Grove. See meeting details below.

I would like to thank everyone who donated items for the bake sale and to those who helped during the bake sale. It was a group effort and could not have been done without ALL OF YOU!

UPCOMING MEETING:

Our next meeting will be held on October 16th in the Grove at 7 p.m. We will be learning "Zentangle", a meditative form of drawing. Special guest, Penny Spalding, will be instructing us on how to draw patterns into beautiful works of art!

Please note: This meeting will require special Zentangle pens. You can purchase them in advance for under $10 from Hobby Lobby, Walmart or any craft store.

I will have few extra pens available to borrow. You will not need special paper, as it will be supplied.
