What's Up

Summer is winding down (sad, I know) and we will soon be gearing up for our normal meetings (yay!). Since our family picnic was cancelled due to the extreme hot weather, I thought it would be nice to meet at Ben and Scooters for ice cream next Thursday evening August 20th at 6:30 p.m. Bring your family or significant other if you wish for an informal evening of fellowship and a sweet, refreshing treat (at your expense).

Also, I wanted to let you know that the yard sale scheduled for Sept. 19, must be re-scheduled. My niece is getting married that day out of town, and I wouldn't dream of missing it! I would like to throw out a date of Sept. 26 for our fundraiser yard sale. The yard sale will be held at the home of Kelly Reynolds on Sunset Dr. in Hanover beginning at 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.  The SIC ladies will donate their gently used housewares, clothing, etc. Each lady is responsible for pricing their sale items, selling their items, and setting up and breaking down their own table(s).  All proceeds will benefit the St. David's Sisters in Christ future service projects.  I will need a definite response as to who will be participating in the yard sale.
